Terrence Beard aims to help others who are going through challenges in life. The book is written from his own experiences and also his own understanding of what it’s like to travel an uphill journey and then often slide back. Despite that, he urges us to move forward.

Born and raised in East Stockton, California, Terrence Beard is a 56-year-old black man who grew up in a time when things were hard in the hood. Despite all that, there was still love. However, he watched it all change in a matter of months.
